Portugal is the westernmost country in Europe, a country with only one neighbor (called Spain), two archipelagos of Azores and Madeira in the Atlantic Ocean except for Portugal soil, the country is known as the country of seafarers, in  the very distant past was part of the ancient Roman Empire a few centuries later toast the Germanic tribes were seized and in the 8th century     In 1139 A.D. was recognized by Moroccan Muslims as an independent country and kingdom, but  in  the past, Brazil,  Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Angola, Timurids in India and islands from Iran were part of Portugal.  At that time, the country had great power at sea.
